【高校】第50回福岡女学院大学英語暗唱コンテストが福岡で開催され、当校の生徒、山根心鈴さんがこの競技に参加し、
1位に輝きました。

このスピーチは、約150年前に書かれた『リトル・ウィメン』という物語からのもので、南北戦争中のアメリカに住む4人の姉妹の日常生活を描いています。

On Saturday, September 23rd the 50th Annual Fukuoka Jogakuin University English Recitation Contest was held in Fukuoka. Our student, Miss Yamane Misuzu ,attended the competition and won first place, beating out competitors from several other prefectures. Misuzu worked very hard to prepare for the competition, memorizing the entire 5 minute speech during her summer vacation while also practicing and competing in the basketball club. The competition was strong, and many of the participants performed with clean, near-native pronunciation. Misuzu, however, stood out for her flawless performance, using natural expressions and gestures to convey the meaning of the passage. I am very proud of her hard work and resilience. Thank you Misuzu, and congratulations!

心鈴さんはこの大会に向けてとてもに一生懸命努力し、夏休み中に全5分のスピーチを暗記し、バスケットボール部での練習と試合にも参加しました。

競技は手強く、多くの参加者がネイティブに近い発音でパフォーマンスしましたが、心鈴さんはその完璧な演技で際立っていて、自然な表現とジェスチャーを用いて文章の意味を伝えました。

彼女の努力と粘り強さに非常に誇りを感じています。山根心鈴さん、お疲れ様でした。そして、おめでとうございます！
